$1,500 Replacement Window Tax Credit Video

New Federal Energy Tax Credit for Qualifying MN Replacement Windows and Doors

Time is running out to take advantage of the new MN Replacement Window energy tax credits! This legislation, which took effect January 1, 2009 and ends December 31st, 2010 provides consumers with limited tax credits for making their homes more energy efficient.

Here are the facts about the new energy tax credits:

  • Provides a consumer tax credit up to $1,500 for 30% of the cost of qualified remodeling projects that improve the energy efficiency of an existing home—including replacement windows.
  • Applies to any ENERGY STAR qualified windows and doors purchased from January 1, 2009 to May 31, 2009.
  • Applies to windows and doors with a U-value of at least 0.30 and solar heat gain coefficient of at least 0.30 purchased from June 1, 2009 to December 31, 2010.

Gorell Replacement Windows and Doors warrants that its windows and doors installed by Western Construction, Inc. in your single family home will be free from material and manufacturing defects, under normal use and service for as long as you own your home.

Basic Replacement Window Unit Has A Lifetime Warranty*

The material used in your Replacement Windows is warranted to be free from defects under normal use and service for as long as you own your home. Gorell warrants that the finish on your Replacement Windows will not crack, blister or peel (except for normal weathering) under normal use and service for as long as you own your home.

Replacement Window Glass and Insulating Glass Unit Has A 50 Year Warranty*

All glass in the Replacement Window is warranted to be free from defects in material and manufacturing for 50 years from the date of purchase, except for commercially acceptable flaws in standard (q3) glass. The insulating glass parts of the windows are warranted to be free from material obstruction of view caused by film formation and / or dust collection between the interior surface of the glass due to the failure of the seal, under normal use and service, for 50 years from the date of purchase.

In addition Gorell will provide replacement glass free of charge once the product is installed in your home for any broken glass (except units with beveled/specialty/leaded glass or glass with interblinds in the windows and doors, regardless of cause, for 50 years from the date of installation.

Other Accessories And Parts Has A 50 Year Warranty*

The accessories and parts affixed to the Replacement Windows and Doors are warranted to be free from defects in material and manufacturing, under normal use and service for 50 Years from the date of service.
